Q2. What documents and information are usually required for international freight transportation?

For general goods in international transportation, information such as invoices and packing lists is needed. There are separate regulations for special goods. Therefore, if you consult in advance, we will give professional replies.

Our company can propose multiple quotation plans, so you can make a choice after comparing prices, delivery periods, and so on. Of course, we can also recommend the most suitable plan for you.

Q4. My company's goods cannot be stacked. Can you handle this situation?

Yes, we can. Generally speaking, the freight for goods that are prohibited from being stacked will be relatively high. The calculation method of freight varies according to the regulations of different countries and regions, so we need to provide you with a separate quotation each time.

Q5. Are there any size restrictions on goods for air transportation?

Yes, there are (size restrictions). Although it may vary depending on the aircraft model, generally speaking, the height limit for passenger aircraft is 160 centimeters, and that for cargo aircraft is 243 centimeters. There are also cargo aircraft that can carry goods exceeding these sizes, and we will inform you separately in such cases.

Q6. What does "NFO" mean in your company's quotations?

"NFO" refers to "Next Flight Out" (emergency air cargo transportation). NFO is an emergency transportation service that uses the nearest scheduled departing flight to transport goods so that the goods can be delivered within the shortest time.

Q7. What does "OBC" mean in your company's quotations?

"OBC" refers to "On Board Courier" (hand-carry transportation). OBC is a special transportation service. The dedicated person in charge will take the customer's goods directly onto the plane and ensure that they are delivered directly to the destination at the fastest speed. The entire process from receiving the goods to direct delivery is under the supervision of the delivery staff, so it can significantly reduce the risk of problems during transportation and ensure the safety and reliability of transportation.

Q8. My company's package has already been sent out by another courier company. If possible, can your company contact that courier company and receive it on behalf of us?

Usually in this case, the shipper needs to directly contact the courier company and issue instructions for the transfer of the goods. However, if you provide us with the shipper's contact information and the tracking number, we can call the local office to confirm the situation.

Q9. What requirements does the customs have for exporters in terms of Japanese sake exports?

Exporters in Japan need to possess the "License for Wholesale Business of Exported Alcoholic Beverages". Our group company holds this license, so we can undertake export agency business as well.

Q10. I want to transport 4.5 liters of white liquor with an alcohol content of 58%,which regulations related to the transportation of dangerous goods do I need to follow?

According to the regulations of airlines, alcoholic beverages with an alcohol concentration lower than 70% and contained in containers with a capacity of less than 5 liters are not classified as dangerous goods but as general goods.

Q11. How long does it usually take for your company's NFO emergency air transportation?

"NFO" means the next available fastest flight. Therefore, depending on the flight distance, it may take as short as one day or as long as two days to reach the destination.

Q12. How much cargo can be transported at most in the case of hand-carrying?

There is no upper limit for hand-carry transportation, but generally, the reference standard is 5 boxes per person, approximately 100 kilograms. It depends on the remaining cargo space on each flight. After receiving the customer's request, we will immediately confirm the remaining situation and inform you. In the past, there has been a record of transporting 200 boxes and 4 tons of goods by hand-carrying.

Q13. There is an urgent package in Shanghai City. Can you go to pick it up immediately?

After receiving a formal commission, we can usually pick up packages within 30 minutes throughout China.

Q1. Can you receive overseas remittances?

Yes, we can.

Q2. What currencies can be used?

Currently, our company accepts settlements in the following currencies:
USD, CNY, JPY, EUR, and HKD.

Yes, our company has a legal entity in Vietnam and is able to issue red invoices.

Invoices can be issued. The types of invoices include: Special VAT invoices and Electronic General VAT invoices.

Q5. In international freight transportation in China, can international freight forwarders provide Special VAT invoices?

According to the relevant regulations of China's national taxation, international freight forwarders can only provide tax-exempt general invoices.

Q6. How is the chargeable weight of air cargo calculated?

In international air transportation, the chargeable weight is based on the larger one between the volumetric weight and the actual gross weight of the goods for charging. The general calculation method for volumetric weight is: Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) ÷ 6000 = Volumetric weight (KG).

Q7. Can you pay the import duties/consumption taxes in advance?

Sure,if the client has a current account, the taxes will be paid using that account. If not, our company will pay in advance.

Q8. What is the tariff when goods go through customs in the importing country? How can we know it in advance?

We will estimate the taxes based on the commodity information provided by the client and inform the estimated tax amount in advance.

Q9. Under what circumstances will the out-of-hours charges included in the quotation be incurred?

Normally, no out-of-hours charges will be incurred during any period of a working day. However, if it involves delivery, customs clearance, and other businesses during holidays or weekends, the out-of-hours charges indicated in the quotation will be incurred.

Q10. The calculated weight of our company's goods is 30 kilograms, but your company's quotation shows 45 kilograms. What does it mean?

It means the minimum chargeable weight. Even if the goods weigh less than 45kg, they will be charged according to 45kg.

Q11. Besides the fees on the quotation, will there be any other fees incurred?

The fees marked as "actual expenses" will be additionally charged when billing. If there are other fees incurred besides these, we will contact the client in advance.

Our company has branches or offices in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, and also has excellent partners in most countries and regions around the world. Therefore, our transportation services cover almost the entire globe.

Q2. Can you transport dangerous goods?

Yes, we can. Our company has several employees who hold the Dangerous Goods Handling Qualification (IATA DG). We can formulate transportation plans for dangerous goods based on the cargo information you provide.

Q3. Can you transport all types of dangerous goods?

Some dangerous goods are not accepted by airlines. If you can provide the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), our company will confirm it for you.

Q4. Can you handle ATA Carnet customs clearance?

Yes, we can. If it is for export from Japan, our company can also handle the application for the ATA Carnet on your behalf. It usually takes about two days to complete the application.

Q5. If a large quantity of goods needs to be transported, but our company mainly deals with small-package transportation, would that be possible?

The consignee should first contact the airline or the transporter that delivered the goods and request a damage certificate. Then our company will negotiate with the airline to handle the matter.

Q5. What does your company pay attention to in order to provide safe transportation?

In our company, if the packaging condition of the goods is found to be poor when receiving them, we will repackage them. In addition, if necessary, we will also attach warning labels to the goods. We also provide real-time cargo tracking services to monitor the goods all the time.

Q6. Our company intends to carry overseas commodity samples by hand. Do we need to go through customs after arriving at Narita Airport?

Basically, it is possible, but the following conditions need to be met: ① After the imported goods enter the country, everything including their nature and shape remains unchanged. ② The goods can be delivered to the bonded warehouse within 6 months after import. ③ When the goods need to be returned due to breach of contract issues such as quality and quantity discrepancies, the reason for the return must be confirmed and approved by the customs.
